We especially welcome allies to come check out the space! We hope to donate part of the proceeds to Proud Spaces in support of their programmes.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caY3sb9xEPM This is what we did in Session 3 and we will be singing this again! Are you ready to just sing? Our song selections for the evening are Golden by Huntrix, and Too Good at Goodbyes by Sam Smith.

Please Sing Casually is a 90-minute vocal gathering for anyone who wants to explore their voice in good company — with zero pressure to perform, perfect, or be impressive.

This is a space for people who sing in showers, whisper melodies into their phones, or hum quietly to themselves while walking home. Whether you sing confidently or cautiously, there is room for your voice here.

We begin with breath and simple sound — humming, sighing, toning. From there, we ease into collective improvisation and shared vocal play. Each session closes with a group-created song that gathers what we shared, heard, and felt along the way.

You are welcome to participate with your full voice, your quiet presence, or anything in between.

Persons with speech challenges and your loved ones are welcome to participate, such as persons with aphasia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease. You have to be accompanied by a caregiver if you require assistance. This venue is wheelchair-accessible.

What to Bring

  • A water bottle to stay hydrated

  • Clothes you feel comfortable moving and sounding in

  • Your voice — exactly as it is

Facilitators of this session

Evelyn (she/her) is a music therapist and the creator of Please Sing Casually (PSC). She believes music belongs to everyone and that singing together can be soft, messy, and full of meaning. With a background in music and group psychotherapy, Evelyn designs spaces where care, community, and creativity meet. Evelyn would ike to see more community choirs popping up in the future and becoming the next craze after Pickleball!

Rayhan (he/him) is a vocal coach and co-creator of PSC of who sees singing as an act of presence and play. He loves vocal improvisation and creates welcoming spaces where voices can move freely. For Rayhan, music-making is a way to explore, express, and come home to yourself—one sound at a time.

RHAUN (he/him) (pronounced “Ron”) is a singer-songwriter, vocal coach, and co-creator of PSC who finds truth through songwriting. He invites people into music as a space for expression, craft, and connection. With RHAUN, singing becomes a way to shape stories, share emotions, and be fully heard.
